// Who I am
IT and security, explained like a person.
I'm an IT and cybersecurity specialist based in Boynton Beach. I started YourTech because small businesses get the worst of both worlds: they're targeted by the same attacks as big companies, but they get IT help that's either overpriced or half done.
I keep it small on purpose. You get one person who knows your setup, tells you the truth about it, and writes down everything so you're never locked in.

I practice on my own network first.
I run a full security lab, the same kind of setup larger companies use. Everything I recommend to a client, I've already run myself.
Firewall with intrusion prevention
Traffic is inspected and known attack patterns are blocked before they reach anything.
Segmented networks
Separate zones so one compromised device can't reach everything else.
Security monitoring
A SIEM collects logs from every system and flags what looks wrong.
A live honeypot
A decoy system that attackers hit tens of thousands of times a day. That's the globe on the homepage.
